Our client is a leading global asset manager with a wide range of successful funds including alternatives and emerging market equities.
They are building out a business in the United States and have created a new role for a New York based US Channel Marketing Manager, reporting into a Head of Marketing based in London. This is a broad role with a high level of autonomy.
Key responsibilities include; developing and delivering marketing plans for wholesale and institutional channels in the United States; building strong relationships with key stakeholders including sales, product and investment teams; managing marketing campaigns and fund launches; developing key messaging, positioning and digital marketing activities; compiling competitor intelligence; building strong knowledge of key market trends and fund flows; overseeing an events programme to maximise profile building opportunities and working with marketing colleagues globally to collaborate and share ideas and best practices.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, possess previous channel marketing experience gained in asset management, good knowledge of the US investment industry, ideally including institutional, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, strong campaign management experience, the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a pressurised environment and a keen interest in financial markets.
