Our client is a global asset manager with a wide range of successful funds. They are hiring a UK Institutional Sales Lead for their Alternatives fund range – including real estate and structured finance.
Key responsibilities include; build a sales pipeline, develop new business with prospects and existing clients with a focus on corporate DB pension schemes, work closely with the consultant relations team to build profile with field consultants, build strong relationships with internal stakeholders including product specialists and investment teams, maintain a strong knowledge of key market trends/developments and attend industry events to help raise our client’s profile.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter, a team player, they will possess a proven institutional sales track record, strong relationships in the UK institutional market including corporate DB schemes, the ability to identify and close new business opportunities for Alternatives, excellent verbal communication and presenting skills and the ability to multi-task and deliver to tight deadlines in a pressurised environment. Knowledge of Alternative investments is desirable.
