Our client is a global asset manager with a wide range of successful funds. They are hiring a UK Institutional Sales person for the insurance sector.
Key responsibilities include; define a sales and relationship management strategy for the UK insurance market, build a sales pipeline, develop new business with prospects and existing clients, work closely with the consultant relations team to build profile with field consultants, build strong relationships with internal stakeholders including product specialists and investment teams, maintain a strong knowledge of key market trends/developments and help to develop new product ideas.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter, a team player, they will possess a proven institutional sales track record, strong relationships in the UK institutional market, the ability to identify and close new business opportunities, good knowledge of fixed income and multi-asset strategies, excellent verbal communication and presenting skills and the ability to multi-task and deliver to tight deadlines in a pressurised environment. Knowledge of the insurance sector is desirable.
