UK Discretionary Sales Executive – Boutique Asset Manager

Our client is a successful, entrepreneurial boutique asset manager. They are hiring a Sales Executive to focus on developing relationships with Discretionary Advisors and Private Banks in the UK.

Key responsibilities

  • Building relationships with fund buyers and advisors/bankers in existing clients and develop a pipeline of prospects.
  • Undertake regular client and prospect meetings, presentations and pitches.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of our client’s funds, market trends and the competitive landscape with the UK asset management industry.
  • Represent our client at industry trade events.
  • Help to develop marketing collateral, presentations and pitch material and build strong internal relationships with key stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter, a team player, possess proven asset management sales experience, excellent relationship building and communication skills, the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a pressurised environment, strong investment knowledge and a good understanding of fund products, a keen interest in financial markets and strong business acumen.
