Our client is a successful global asset manager. They have created a new role for a Senior Social Media Manager focusing on their B2B channel in the UK.
Key responsibilities include; develop and deliver a consumer (B2C) and B2B led social media marketing strategy focused on social platforms including LinkedIn and Twitter, ensure effective social media monitoring, increase engagement levels and ROI, develop social media campaigns, deliver social media posts that are compliant, correctly targeted and archived, maintain up to date knowledge of UK data protection acts, understand latest industry trends, drive best practice for personalisation, keep abreast of competitor positioning and social media activity, use social for lead generation to grow email subscribers and drive the integration with email to improve the content marketing experience.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter, possess previous social media marketing experience, strong influencing and communication skills, the ability to assimilate information, prioritise and distil it into key messages in a fast paced environment, excellent copy writing and editing skills, the ability to deliver engaging, market leading social media content across multiple platforms and an understanding of the UK regulatory environment.
Financial services experience would be useful but experience across other sectors would also be considered.
