Our client is a leading global asset manager with a strong brand and successful product range across both wholesale (B2B) and personal investing (B2C).
They are looking to hire a Head of Social Media for the UK, Europe and Asia.
Key responsibilities include: manage a small team of social media specialists, develop and deliver a social media marketing strategy, co-ordinate social strategies across channels and regions, ensure effective social media monitoring, increase engagement levels and ROI, develop social media campaigns, help each channel to optimise their social media marketing, ensure the team delivers social media posts that are compliant, correctly targeted and archived, maintain up to date knowledge of UK data protection, understand the process for reporting social media effectiveness, understand latest industry trends, drive best practice for personalisation, keep abreast of competitor positioning and social media activity, own social media budgets and ROI, manage relationships with digital agencies, use social to grow email subscribers and drive the integration with email to improve the content marketing experience.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter, possess proven social media and digital marketing campaign management experience gained in the financial services industry, knowledge of using enterprise level social media marketing tools for publishing, approval workflows and social listening, strong analytical, influencing and communication skills, the ability to assimilate information, prioritise and distil it into key messages in a fast paced environment, excellent copy writing and editing skills, the ability to deliver engaging, market leading social media content across multiple platforms and an understanding of the UK regulatory environment. Knowledge of asset management would be useful but is not essential.
