Digital Experience Lead, UK Marketing – Global Asset Manager

Our client is a successful global asset manager. Their UK marketing team are looking for Digital Experience Lead to manage a small team responsible for building a centre of excellence for audience led digital marketing journeys. The focus will be on enabling the organisation to create and sustain a world-class online customer experience that increases share of wallet and new customer acquisition.

Key responsibilities include:

  • supporting the business to become a ‘technology powered organisation’ in order to create a seamless digital experience for customers
  • leading the development and implementation of digital customer journeys and enabling the development of industry leading digital content
  • delivering robust digital journeys (strategy, plan, deliver and optimise) for primary audiences across multiple digital channels based upon the audience need, life moments and engagement habits
  • developing a deep understanding of our audience demographics, needs, behaviours, life moments, content channel and absorbing habits
  • developing audience led journey strategies and delivery plans aligned to the wider marketing and business goals
  • managing a small team and, in line with the strategies and plans, ensure the team have clear roles, responsibilities and controls
  • ensuring appropriate KPI’s and other tools are in place to monitor customer journey performance and optimise on an ongoing basis
  • developing collaborative relationships with other areas within marketing and the wider business to ensure successful delivery of the approved projects
  • developing the use of tools to drive ever-greater personalisation and automation across the journeys

The successful candidate will need proven experience in developing digital experience strategy and leading experience of using digital journeys as a key driver within marketing and communications. Candidates will need experience in financial services, although associated experience across other sectors will be considered. The successful candidate will be hands on and yet strategically strong; have a track record of managing a successful team; have the ability to set and communicate strategic direction and be comfortable operating at a senior level in a large international business.
